The optimum planting time is mid September through to March for South East Qld, and approx. 1 month later for central Qld. Optimal soil temperature ranging between 15 degrees and rising, anything under will impact germination rate and result in poor crop establishment. Seeds are best sown at a depth of 25mm.
15 units of N is recommended as a starter fert, to encourage good germination and early vigour.
This coated seed mix is not suitable for organic growers. Please contact us if you are an organic grower for other seed options that may meet your organic certification requirements.
