This mix has been carefully designed to create seed ratio's that will give optimal balance for bacterial and fungal populations.
The optimum planting time is mid September through to January for South East Qld, and approx. 1 month later for central Qld. Optimal soil temperature ranging between 15 degrees and rising, anything under will impact germination rate and result in poor crop establishment. Seeds are best sown at a depth of 25 - 50mm
25 units of N is recommended as a starter fert, to encourage good germination and early vigour.
To improve strike rate we recommend our Super Charge Inoculant (included with the 1/4 acre pack).
