BOS PHOS - NOP provides the benefits of Natural Allicin & Sulphur with extra Phosphorus for Breeder operations.
With the added advantage of Calcium, Magnesium and trace minerals to reduce the risk of deficiencies, buffered with Biochar with other key nutrients required by livestock throughout the year, Bos Phos NOP may be particularly beneficial during Spring and Summer or periods of lush green growth and when parasites are present.
Many soils in Northern Australia are Phosphorus defecient, so Bos Phos NOP with Allicin and Sulphur is an ideal addition to current non-synthetic supplementry regeims or an excellent alternative to other broad spectrum Phosphorus loose licks that don't contain Allicin. Made in parternship with Ag Solutions and based on their MegaMin base, BOS PHOS - NOP can be used year round to supply minerals that are essential for growth, health and fertility on green grass or dry feed.

Allicin, naturally derived from Garlic, fed in low concentrations has been found in US research on Horn Fly, to decrese external insect populations in livestock by up to 20%. Garlic rich in the sulphur-containing compound Allicin which subsequently breaks down to a range of volatile sulphur-containing compounds. (Durunna & Lardner, 2021).
Molasses "attractants" have NOT been used in the blend minimising the risk of unintended outcomes (such as inadvertantly increasing parasite loads). In addition to the 8% S inclusion rate, Garlic is a sulphur source itself as well as acting as an attractant for animals allowing protein meal to be minimised.
*BOS PHOS NOP may be eligable as an allowable NOP input as a parasite management measure (rather than a supplement). Contact your certifying body for clarification prior to use and update your OMP.
IMPORTANT NOTES ON FEEDING
This product is designed to be fed in open/well-drained, preferably covered troughs as a supplement for livestock with
access to adequate pasture/forage and water.
Ensure sufficient trough access/spacing. Consumption rates may vary depending on weather, pasture and livestock conditions. During peak demand use the higher level of the feeding rate.
It is preferable to keep this product dry when feeding to maintain palatability. If intake exceeds the recommended levels, additional salt may be added to slow intake or satisfy salt cravings.
